Calling all Kitchen hand superstars!!

Join our growing team at Bluewater Village Early Learning as a Kitchen Hand to support our Chef with daily kitchen operations. You'll be the magic behind happy tummies and growing minds, working in a child-centred kitchen environment where mealtimes are about more than just serving food. You'll also be confident stepping into the Chef role when needed, such as during leave periods.

Key responsibilities

- Food preparation

- Washing dishes

- Maintaining required records

- Cleaning and closing the kitchen each afternoon

- Stepping into the Chef role when needed, such as during leave periods

- Preparing nutritious meals that promote healthy growth and learning

About you

- A high standard of kitchen hygiene

- Previous cooking or food preparation experience

- Brings a positive, caring approach to every task,



helping create a welcoming, child-centred kitchen setting

- Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

- Willing to obtain a Food Safety Certificate and National Child Safety training

- Early childhood qualifications would be an advantage but are not required
