The role
Few venues can match ours for saying “I do,” and we’re looking for someone who can sell that. You’ll join our Events team as Wedding Sales & Events Manager. You’ll report to the Group Events Manager and turn wedding enquiries into confirmed bookings and amazing events across the group.

This is a sales role first. You’ll build relationships, show couples and their families what makes our offerings so special, and close the deal. You’ll also help with planning where it’s needed, then hand over to our Event Managers so every celebration is delivered seamlessly. You’ll:

- Run venue inspections, phone consultations and in-person meetings with prospective clients

- Turn leads into bookings through proactive follow-up, clear communication and tailored proposals

- Build warm, trust-based relationships that carry clients from first enquiry to signed contract

- Know the Boathouse portfolio inside out, including its spaces, capacities, packages and styling options





- Support the early planning stages where required, then hand over to the Event Managers so execution is smooth

- Keep the paperwork tight: contracts, payment schedules, booking documentation and CRM entries

- Hit and beat your wedding sales targets

About you

- Proven experience in wedding or event sales, with a track record of hitting targets

- A natural relationship-builder who is professional, warm and passionate about celebrations

- Strong commercial acumen, and you know a positive deal when you see one

- Calm under pressure, solutions-focused and always looking to improve

- Tactful, discreet and honest, always

- Creative, with a knack for tailoring bespoke solutions to each client
