About the role
You’ll provide hands-on administration, document control, purchasing and workforce coordination support for Queensland transmission line construction projects (towers and conductors). The main project site is 30–40 minutes from the depot, and a second regional project starts in November. You’ll report to a Project Administrator / Business Lead who works remotely and will support you as needed. Day to day, you’ll work with Construction Managers, Project Managers, Supervisors, site teams and the SHEQ team. The projects run on a 19/9 roster.
What you’ll do

- Process invoices, update delivery trackers and help with project cost tracking and reporting
- Handle document control: scan, file, label and upload SWMS, inductions and site paperwork
- Manage subcontractor compliance, including uploading tickets and qualifications
- Find suppliers, request quotes and issue POs
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, vehicle hire and mobilisation for project personnel
- Help with onboarding and inductions for employees and subcontractors
- Provide admin support for SHEQ items
- Receive deliveries and handle physical site paperwork at the depot
What we’re looking for
- Experience as a Project Administrator,
Site Administrator or in a similar project support role
- A background in construction, utilities, energy, mining or infrastructure (highly preferred). Strong admin experience from other fast-paced industries will also be considered.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). You’ll need solid spreadsheet tracking skills, but not advanced formulas.
- Experience with Ariba (desirable). Training is available for people who are confident with computers.
- A resilient, proactive and highly organised approach, with strong attention to detail
- Confidence working on your own and holding your own in a direct, male-dominated site environment
Perks
- Flexibility to work from home on some days
- A mine-spec company vehicle for site travel
- Accommodation, flights and reasonable meals covered when you travel to site, or a LAHA allowance if you’d rather manage your own
- A pathway to further QLD projects and temp-to-perm opportunities
Requirements (mandatory)
- Current driver’s licence
- Availability to start the week of 09/11/2026
