Support Worker - Mental Health and Wellbeing Focus

We are seeking an experienced caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team and support participants to live fulfilling, meaningful and independent lives.

We believe that great support goes beyond everyday tasks. It means building trust, promoting dignity, encouraging independence and supporting each person's mental health and wellbeing.

About the role

The successful applicant will support participants with:

- Daily living activities and personal care, where required.

1. Emotional wellbeing and positive mental health.

2. Developing confidence, independence and life skills.

3. Building social connections and participating in the community.

4. Communicating feelings, needs and preferences in a safe and supportive environment.

5. Maintaining routines and working towards and working towards personal goals.

6. Responding calmly, respectfully and professionally during times of distress.

Required:

Candidates must hold relevant qualifications including Certificate III Community Services, Certificate IV Disability, or Diploma Community Services, along with current First Aid Certification.
