PM Fleet Supervisor – Transport & Logistics

We are partnering with a leading national logistics organisation seeking an experienced PM Fleet Supervisor to oversee afternoon transport operations across a busy local and regional freight network.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced transport environment, enjoys managing people and understands the importance of delivering efficient, safe and reliable transport operations.
The Role Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the daily coordination of fleet operations, leading a team of Fleet Allocators and Drivers to ensure customer commitments and operational targets are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead, mentor and support a team of Fleet Allocators and Drivers across the PM shift.
- Oversee daily fleet allocation, scheduling, dispatch and PUD operations.
- Monitor fleet utilisation, delivery performance and DIFOT targets.
- Manage operational disruptions, driver issues and last-minute scheduling changes.
- Ensure compliance with fatigue management, load restraint and transport safety regulations.
- Work closely with depot operations, subcontractors and customers to maintain service levels.
- Drive operational efficiencies, team performance and continuous improvement.




- Maintain accurate transport records and ensure effective use of Transport Management Systems (TMS).

About You We are looking for an experienced transport professional who combines strong operational knowledge with a proactive, hands-on leadership style.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Fleet Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, Senior Fleet Controller or similar.
- Proven experience leading Fleet Allocators, Drivers or transport operations teams.
- Strong understanding of local and regional PUD operations.
- Experience managing fleet scheduling, driver allocation and transport compliance.
- Sound knowledge of Australian transport legislation, fatigue management and safety requirements.
- Confidence using Transport Management Systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick operational decisions.
