We are seeking an experienced Shift Electrician to join a leading manufacturing operation in NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with a strong industrial background to join an established team, supporting production operations and ensuring plant and machinery run safely and efficiently.

Working afternoon shift, you will take responsibility for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs while supporting production teams to minimise downtime and maintain high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on production machinery and plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and minimise production downtime.
- Work with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Assist with mechanical maintenance requirements where necessary.
- Monitor plant equipment and identify maintenance requirements or potential issues.
- Support production activities to ensure output, quality and safety targets are achieved.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace procedures.




- Provide guidance and support to production teams during the afternoon shift.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent trade qualification.
- Current unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence.
- 3–5 years' post-trade experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of three-phase power, motor controls, variable speed drives, PLCs, sensors and instrumentation.
- Experience fault-finding and maintaining industrial production machinery.
- The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to safety, maintenance and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

Experience in industries such as rail, mining, steel, cement, food processing or similar heavy industrial environments will be highly regarded.
