Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is seeking passionate and experienced Centre Chefs and an Assistant Chef to join our growing teams across the Geelong region.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Ashbury Armstrong Creek – 1 Centre Chef & 1 Assistant Chef
Lara Lakes – 1 Centre Chef

This is a fantastic opportunity to prepare nutritious, delicious meals that support children's health and wellbeing while working in a supportive early learning environment.

The Opportunity
As our Centre Chef or Assistant Chef, you will:
-Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children.

-Assist with menu planning that meets childcare nutrition guidelines.

-Manage or support food ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets.

-Cater for dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences.

-Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen documentation.

-Collaborate with educators and centre leadership to support children's wellbeing.

-Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

About You
To be successful, you'll have:

-Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher

-Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (HLTSS00061)



and Safe Food Handling Certificate.

-Previous childcare or commercial kitchen experience is preferred.

-Knowledge of children's nutritional needs and dietary requirements.

-Robust organisational, time management and communication skills.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

-Current Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
