About the role

Green Olive at Red Hill is looking for an experienced Chef to join our passionate kitchen team. Set among our olive grove and vineyard in Main Ridge, our farm-to-table restaurant is built around seasonal produce, much of it grown right here on the farm. If you love cooking with what’s in season and want a better work-life balance, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

- Preparing, cooking and plating high-quality seasonal plates for the menu

- Preparing canapés and shared grazing menus for events

- Running small-group cooking classes for corporate clients

- Working with the team to develop new menu items and specials that showcase our produce

- Supporting, training and mentoring junior kitchen staff

- Upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene

- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently

- Bringing a positive, professional attitude that lifts the whole team

What we’re looking for

- At least 5 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant

- A formal culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience





- Experience in event catering, canapés or grazing-style service

- Confidence presenting to groups, and enjoyment of teaching others

- The ability to stay calm and consistent under pressure

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- A genuine passion for farm-grown, seasonal produce

- Ability to run small group cooking classes such as fresh pasta making
