Remuneration: Commission-based
This is a commission-based sales role. Your earnings will be linked to the sales you achieve. Please apply only if you are comfortable with commission-based remuneration. Commission rates and payment terms will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.
Essential requirement
You must have proven sales experience in the new home construction industry. You need to understand how to sell a new build and confidently guide customers through the home building process.
This is not a general retail or real estate sales role. Applicants without direct new home construction sales experience will not be considered.
What you’ll do
- Respond to enquiries and build relationships with prospective clients.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, budget and plans.
- Present suitable home and granny flat options, plans, inclusions and pricing.
- Explain the steps involved in building, from the first appointment through to contract and handover.
- Follow up leads consistently and manage your sales pipeline.
- Prepare proposals and maintain accurate client and sales records.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and the wider team to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Work towards agreed sales and customer service targets.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience selling new homes in the residential construction industry.
- Confidence discussing home designs, plans, pricing, inclusions and the building process.
- Strong communication, presentation and follow-up skills.
- A professional, organised approach and a genuine focus on clients.
- Confidence managing multiple enquiries and working in a commission-based role.
- A current driver’s licence and ability to travel to client appointments when required.
About the role
You’ll represent Prestige Homes & Granny Flats and help clients make informed decisions about building. You’ll need to be comfortable discussing construction with customers and managing the sales process from enquiry through to contract.
