Aged and Disability Support Worker – Casual | Echuca, VIC

About the role
Thrive Support Services (J & S Cummins Pty Ltd) is looking for a caring, reliable Aged and Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis in Echuca.

You’ll help the people we support live well and independently by assisting with daily tasks, supporting their personal goals, and building positive, respectful relationships.

We’re particularly looking for someone happy to take on sleepover shifts as well as other regular weekly shifts, with the chance for more hours over time.

What you’ll do
Support participants with personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming
Help with meal planning, preparation and serving
Provide companionship and encourage involvement in social, recreational and therapeutic activities
Keep accurate, timely progress notes and communicate clearly with the participant’s support team
Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home setting

About you
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or Community Services, or willing to work towards one




Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
Patient, empathetic and genuinely committed to making a difference
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
Available for a range of shifts, including weekends, public holidays and sleepovers
