Work based in Thursday Island and Bamaga
Liaise with clients, taking instructions and appearing in court
Work autonomously, as well as part of a supportive team
Document preparation, and maintain filing systems

Qualifications and experience
Admission as a legal practitioner in Queensland, holding a current Practising Certificate
At least 2 years post admission experience necessary
Ability to develop culturally sensitive service skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid organization and time-management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to maintain confidentiality
