Medical Receptionist / PA - Specialist Practice

Key responsibilities
Manage appointment bookings efficiently for patients
Handle calls with professionalism and empathy, both incoming and outgoing
Take care of general administration duties and ensure accurate data entry
Manage billing processes, including Medicare and Hospital/Private Health claims
Cultivate robust relationships with valued patients
Coordinate the booking of procedures at private and public hospitals, including patient admissions
Handle daily banking activities
Manage a specific doctor's calendar effectively
Review appointment and procedure booking calendars to ensure smooth workflow




Maintain organized and secure filing of medical records

About you
Meticulous attention to detail, adept at multitasking, and robust problem-solving abilities
Thrive in a rapid-paced environment and handle pressure with composure
Demonstrated experience in teamwork within a similar setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently, following established practice processes
Professional phone etiquette and impeccable presentation
Familiarity with Medicare billing and related processes
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
