About the role

We're looking for an HR & Training Coordinator to join our small, close-knit team of about 20 people. Based at our Yatala office with hybrid flexibility, you'll support the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding through to training and development – and help keep our HR practices compliant and our people supported.

What you'll be doing
Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
Planning and booking inductions, training sessions, tickets and licence renewals
Maintaining training records and the competency register
Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
Preparing employment contracts, variations and supporting HR documentation
Supporting managers with performance reviews, employee relations and disciplinary processes
Keeping HR policies, forms and templates current
Ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and relevant up-to-date awards
Supporting wellbeing and return-to-work processes
Contributing to workforce planning,



engagement and continuous improvement

About you
Qualification in Human Resources or a related field
2–3 years' experience in a similar HR role, ideally in construction or a related industry
Sound working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES, up-to-date awards and enterprise agreements
Experience with HRIS or workforce management systems
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Approachable, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Current Australian driver's licence (essential)
White Card and/or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (advantageous)
