About You
A finance background is ideal, with a degree in Commerce, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
A proven strategic thinker who has helped set business direction and then turned it into measurable results.
Senior experience in a general management, COO, CFO or commercial leadership role, ideally in an engineering or skilled services consultancy.
Deep experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and cash flow, and the ability to turn the numbers into decisions.
A track record of leading finance, HR, IT and administration teams.
Commercial and contractual experience, including negotiations, variations, claims and disputes.
Working knowledge of risk, compliance and ISO quality systems.

About the Role
As part of the senior leadership team you will be setting the strategic plan and then owning its delivery through clear priorities, KPIs and accountability.
Providing financial and strategic advice that shapes growth and pricing.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls and month-end reporting.




Leading the Finance, HR, and Contracts & Risk functions in the business.
Own the risk, compliance and governance framework, including ISO quality systems.
Lead major contract reviews and commercial negotiations, and oversee significant variations, claims and disputes.
Innovating in current systems and technology to improve efficiencies and productivity.
Managing relationships with accountants, auditors, banks, insurers, legal and IT providers.
