What You'll Be Doing
Prepare and cook nutritious meals to a high standard
Follow food safety, HACCP and hygiene requirements
Support specialised dietary and texture-modified meal requirements
Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage
Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen workplace
Work collaboratively with the wider catering and care team
What You'll Bring
Previous cooking experience, ideally within aged care, healthcare or hospitality
Understanding of HACCP principles and food safety requirements
Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
Experience with IDDSI guidelines is highly regarded
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to follow direction and work within established procedures
Flexible approach to shift changes and additional shift coverage
Comfortable using digital devices such as tablets or iPads
Australian working rights
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
