Defiant Digital is a Sydney performance creative agency. We've creative for brands like DoorDash, Hismile, Swyftx, Proton VPN & 300+ more brands, and we run our own production studio in Parramatta.

We're building out our founder's personal brand and organic social presence, and we're looking for a content producer who has done this before: someone who has followed a founder or business owner around, captured them, and turned it into short-form content that grew an audience.

Our founder Jamie has run a team that's spent over $250M on ads, so value & experience are not the bottleneck.

We need the producer who can shoot it, shape it and ship it at volume.

What you'll do

• Plan and run shoots in our Parramatta studio and on the go: talking-head, podcast-style multi-cam, behind-the-scenes and day-in-the-life content

• Handle the production basics yourself: Everything from simple run and gun camera/phone setups to multi-camera setups for podcasts, audio, lighting and framing

• Edit & post native short-form for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn at scale (multiple posts per day)

• Turn long, unscripted conversations into a steady stream of clips with solid hooks and transparent storytelling

• Use the formats that perform: green screen, tier lists, stitches, reactions, teardowns, trending styles etc.





• Track what's working, reference the best founder-led pages, and bring ideas that move the numbers

What we're looking for

• A track record producing short-form content for founders, executives or business owners

• A portfolio showing accounts you've grown or content you've produced at volume

• Strong, quick editing (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci or similar) with a native feel for each platform

• Solid production skills: multi-cam, mics and audio, lighting, framing

• An eye for story: hooks, pacing and payoffs that make business content worth watching

• You know the founder-led content space and who's doing it well

The details

• At least 3 days a week in our Parramatta studio

• Contract role initially, with scope to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate

• Work and shoot from our studio rent-free: Use our space for your own clients & projects

• Starting ASAP
