Harmor Liquid Waste Solutions and Yarra Valley Septics are part of a family-owned group that also includes Septic Systems Australia and Benkel Hire. Harmor has more than 20 years in liquid waste and is ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified. We collect, transport and dispose of more than 30 waste streams for residential, commercial, industrial and government customers. Our purpose is simple: we're here to deliver cleaner water for our communities and waterways.

The role

This is a new business, hunter-focused role based at our Kilsyth head office, reporting to the National Operations Manager - Liquid Waste. Your job is to win current commercial, industrial and government customers across Victoria, and to grow revenue from new and existing accounts.

You will:
Find, target and win new customers in commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail fuel and government sectors
Build your pipeline through prospecting, outbound calls, site visits, networking and industry events
Turn opportunities into long-term service agreements and recurring scheduled work
Prepare proposals, pricing and tender submissions with input from operations
Price work to margin and negotiate contract terms and renewals
Hand recent accounts over smoothly to operations and customer service




Spot cross-selling opportunities across our group brands
Keep the CRM accurate and forecast monthly and quarterly results

About you
At least 3 years in business development or B2B sales, ideally in waste, environmental, trade or industrial services
A proven record of winning new business and hitting targets
Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
Confident presenting to business owners, facility managers and procurement teams
Commercially sharp, with the ability to price work profitably
Tender and proposal experience (desirable)
Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
A current Australian driver licence (essential)
