You'll work closely with the owner and the team, taking projects from drawings through assembly, fitting and installation. This is a hands-on role with a mix of workshop manufacturing and on-site installation. You will manufacture and install custom kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, vanities and commercial joinery.
Key responsibilities
Reading and interpreting joinery drawings
Assembling cabinets and fitting doors, drawers and hardware
Installing joinery, including accurate levelling, scribing and finishing
Working independently and solving practical problems as they arise
Helping guide our apprentice and maintaining a tidy, organised workplace
About you
A trade qualification in cabinetmaking or equivalent relevant experience
Experience manufacturing and installing custom joinery
Solid attention to detail and pride in the finished product
The ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
A reliable, punctual approach and transparent communication
Respect for clients, teammates, tools and property
A current driver's licence
