About the role

As a Childcare Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in the care of our children. You'll keep our rooms running smoothly so our educators can focus on their most important job: teaching, nurturing and caring for children. No two days are the same, and your support will make a real difference across the whole centre.

Key responsibilities
Supporting educators in the rooms throughout the day
Cleaning, clearing and resetting rooms between activities and at the end of the day
Restocking resources and supplies
Laundry
Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen duties
Following hygiene, safety and secure cleaning procedures to keep our setting healthy for children

About you
Has a positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
Works well as part of a team
Is clean and hygienic,



with an understanding of safe cleaning practices in a children's environment
Takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail
Communicates well with others
Is reliable, punctual and professional
Has a genuine interest in working around children
A current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
A valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
