Yard Hand and Forklift operator.

About the Role

As a Yard Hand in our busy Trade centre, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our busy trade and retail yard.

Your responsibilities will include:
Picking and packing customer orders
Stacking timber, concrete and/ or garden product
Maintaining safety standards in the yard
Loading and Unloading trucks
Providing friendly, hands-on customer service




Performing general yard duties as required

Essential Requirements
A valid forklift license
Robust communication skills
Physically Fit
A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude

Desirable Attributes
Ability to thrive in a quick-paced setting
Willingness to work as part of a supportive team
General knowledge of timber and building products
Previous experience operating a forklift or in a similar yard role preferred
