Compliance Specialist | Energy Description Join a growing energy retailer as a Compliance Officer on an initial 6-month contract, with a robust likelihood of extension for the right person.

You’ll join a 3-person compliance team that reports to the CFO. This is an independent, audit-led role where you’ll shape how compliance is tested across the business.

What you’ll do

Review business teams’ documented processes and identify compliance gaps

Interview business units and request evidence and records

Prepare audit reports and corrective action plans

Track corrective actions through to completion

Audit the compliance team’s own processes, so you’ll need to work independently and with integrity

About you

You have a law degree,



relevant tertiary qualifications, or experience in the energy or renewable energy sector. Legal qualifications are highly regarded.

You’re detail-oriented, with strong analytical and written communication skills

You’re proactive, comfortable working independently, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels

Experience in internal audit, compliance or risk is a plus, but not essential for the right background
