Lee Civil is a growing Queensland civil and pipeline construction company, and we’re looking for an HR & Training Coordinator to look after our people.

About the role
We’re looking for an HR & Training Coordinator to join our small, close-knit team of about 20 people. You’ll support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to training and development, and help keep our HR practices compliant and our people supported. What you’ll be doing
• Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
• Planning and booking inductions, training sessions, tickets and licence renewals
• Keeping training records and the competency register up to date
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
• Preparing employment contracts, variations and supporting HR documentation
• Supporting managers & Supervisors with performance reviews, employee relations and disciplinary processes
• Keeping HR policies, forms and templates current




• Ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, the NES and the relevant up-to-date awards
• Supporting wellbeing and return-to-work processes
• Contributing to workforce planning, engagement and continuous improvement About you
• Qualification in Human Resources or a related field
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar HR role, ideally in construction or a related industry
• Sound working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, the NES, up-to-date awards and enterprise agreements
• Experience with HRIS or workforce management systems
• Robust communication skills and attention to detail
• Approachable and proactive, with high integrity and discretion
• Current Australian driver’s licence (essential)
• White Card (advantageous)
• [Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) (advantageous)]
