H-Squared is partnering with a leading, privately owned global wealth manager to hire a Private Client Director for its Australian business.

This is a role focused entirely on acquiring recent private clients. You will have an established investment proposition to present, qualified leads supplied by the firm’s marketing team, and specialist teams supporting portfolio management and ongoing client service.

The chance

You will speak with prospective high-net-worth wholesale investors, understand their financial goals and explain how the firm’s investment-management approach could meet their needs.

Your focus will be on building trust, handling objections and converting interest into new client commitments. There is no cold calling required.

What you will do
Contact and follow up with qualified, marketing-generated prospects.
Lead discovery conversations by phone and meet prospective clients in person.
Present the investment proposition clearly and confidently.
Manage opportunities through the sales process and secure new clients.




Work with specialist teams to support a smooth client handover.

What you bring
A proven record of personally winning current business and delivering against sales targets.
Experience selling financial services, investment products or research, or a strong background in a comparable financial-sales environment.
Confidence building rapport, explaining a proposition and asking for a commitment.
Consistent activity, disciplined follow-up and resilience.
Sound professional judgement and a clean regulatory record.

Experience acquiring private or high-net-worth clients is valuable. We are also interested in strong financial-sales performers who can demonstrate the ability to make this transition.
