Trainer Assessor/Placement Coordinator - Aged Care/Disability/Leisure and Health National Care Academy is a national organisation specialising in delivering high-quality training in the Health and Community Services Sector.

Due to growth and expansion, we are seeking a casual Trainer Assessor and Placement Coordinator with experience delivering vocational education programs and a commitment to providing a high standard of training and service to our students and clients.

This position is based on the Sunshine Coast, with local and regional travel as required.

Key responsibilities

Coordination and scheduling of student work placement arrangements with facilities

Maintain work placement documentation and registers

Travel to facilities and regional centres to conduct workshops, assessments and placement visits

Delivery of training programs via a combination of face to face, work-based and online delivery

Provide tailored support to students

Contribute to the development and maintenance of learning and assessment resources





Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement and validation activities

Maintain ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements

About you

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher

CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support or similar

CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support or similar

CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health

Enrolled or Registered Nurse (desirable)

A minimum of three years current industry experience in the Aged/Disability Care and/or Leisure and Health sector or similar

Current driver's licence and own vehicle

Valid National Police Check or ability to obtain

Excellent organisational and presentation skills

Superior communication skills with the ability to engage with learners and stakeholders across a range of contexts
