About the Role

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Senior Accountant to join RGM's Traralgon office. Working with a varied portfolio of individual and business clients, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality taxation and accounting services while building strong client relationships. This role offers autonomy, flexibility and genuine long-term career opportunities within a cooperative team.

Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and income tax returns
Complete BAS, GST and tax compliance obligations
Manage a portfolio of individual and SME clients




Provide professional advice and support to clients
Prepare working papers and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
Work collaboratively with the broader accounting team
Maintain accurate client records using cloud-based accounting software

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
CPA or CA qualified (or currently working towards completion)
Minimum three years' experience within Australian public practice
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, BAS and GST compliance
Experience using Xero and other cloud-based accounting software
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
