Love cooking great food? We're looking for a capable, hands-on Cook to join the team at The Museum Café, inside MoPA Nunawading.
You'll work alongside our Head Chef to prepare fresh, delicious food for families visiting the museum, as well as catering for parties and events.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing and cooking café meals, snacks and catering platters
Delivering consistently excellent food, with great attention to presentation
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Keeping your workspace clean, organised and food-protected
Helping with prep, stock management and daily kitchen operations
What we're looking for:
Previous experience cooking in a commercial kitchen or busy café
Confidence preparing food independently, not just assisting with prep
A genuine passion for valuable food and high standards
Someone reliable, organised and comfortable working at pace
A positive team player who takes pride in their work
Availability: Weekend and school holiday availability is essential.
Formal qualifications aren't essential. We're much more interested in your ability to cook outstanding food!
Pay: $26.44 – $45.17 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 32.0 per week
