We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and understands the importance of making every patient feel comfortable and cared for.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an significant role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our practice.

Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting patients and providing friendly, professional customer service.
Answering phone calls and managing patient enquiries.
Booking, confirming and managing appointments.
Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate records.
Managing payments and Medicare billing.
Supporting our doctors and allied health team with daily administrative tasks.
Maintaining patient confidentiality and a professional reception environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail.




Can multitask and remain calm in a busy medical environment.
Is confident using computers and learning current systems.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrates empathy, discretion and a patient-focused approach.

Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a medical reception or general practice setting is essential.
Experience using Best Practice medical software is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
A professional, friendly and patient-focused approach.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
