Elmwood Medical Centre is looking for a FULL TIME RN .

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and very friendly practice nurse.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assisting in the development of nurse-initiated chronic disease management in the practice.

Experience in Practice Nursing is essential.

Nursing responsibilities include patient liaison, setting up and identifying management of the recall system, patient results, care planning, health assessments, stock control, cold chain management and provision of support to practice staff and doctors, IV iron Infusions, doppler Ultrasound, ECGs, Triaging of patients, wound management, immunisations , Skin etc

Assisting doctors with procedures, Maintenance of practice equipment and stock,



answering phones when required and other paper work or on-line applications when doctors request.

The practice is fully computerized so keyboard and computer skills are essential.

The ability to work autonomously and as part of the team is essential.

We are a quality and a busy practice which strives to maintain the highest level of patient care.

Hours: Five days per week 8:00 am to 5:30pm. Monday to Fridays.
