STORE PERSON - DISPATCH

The Pastry Lounge is a boutique food manufacturing business based in Bayswater North, specialising in hand-made canapes for the events industry. We’re a family-run business with a busy, friendly team, and we take real pride in what we make and how it gets to our customers.

We’re looking for a Store Person to join our dispatch team. It’s a hands-on role where accuracy and teamwork make all the difference. Full training will be provided and supervised by our friendly team, although some experience in a similar environment would be a help.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be working as part of the dispatch team to get our daily orders out the door, including:
Picking and packing orders for our delivery drivers
Reading picking slips accurately and checking orders are complete
Working together to dispatch daily orders efficiently
Picking and storing orders for the following day as directed by the warehouse supervisor

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR




Physically fit and able to lift 25kg
Comfortable working in a freezer setting
Robust attention to detail
Experience in a warehouse, dispatch or similar setting is an advantage

Preference will be given to applicants who show great communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in taking on more responsibility in the future.

HOURS
11am to 4pm

THE PROCESS

Successful applicants will be invited to a 1 hour paid trial to assess abilities and suitability for the role.

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
