Poppy Scrolls is a growing café and bakery based in Southport, Gold Coast, specialising in freshly baked cinnamon scrolls, quality coffee and a range of cold beverages.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Barista / All-Rounder to join our team as we grow our new store.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment, providing excellent customer service and being involved in different areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality espresso coffee consistently to Poppy Scrolls standards.
Operate and maintain the espresso machine, grinder and other café equipment.
Prepare hot and cold beverages, including iced drinks and specialty beverages.
Ensure coffee and beverage presentation meets our quality standards.




Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station throughout service.
Monitor coffee, milk, cups and other beverage stock and communicate when supplies are running low.

The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous barista or café experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace.
Strong attention to detail.
Good personal presentation and hygiene.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability and punctuality.
Willingness to assist across different areas of the café.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
