Got a strong back, a good attitude and a soft spot for 80s music?

Shore Can Construction is looking for labourers to keep our sites running smoothly. You'll work alongside our carpenters and the builder, getting stuck into whatever the day throws at you – and you won't be shy about joining in on a bit of in office karaoke.

We're a boutique building company working across Sydney's Inner West and North Shore. Think home renovations, first-floor additions, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, extensions – and the tricky jobs other builders turn down. Read more about the team at shorecan.construction.

Full-time or casual – we're happy to chat about what suits you.

What you'll be doing:
Driving our small tipper truck
Moving materials between sites and doing supplier pick-ups
Digging trenches, mixing concrete, spreading gravel and soil
Site preparation and keeping sites clean and tidy
Helping out the trades wherever you're needed

What you'll bring:
The Shore Can attitude – positive, reliable and up for a laugh
A driver's licence (a car licence is fine) and confidence driving a small truck

Know your hand tools – shovel, broom, jackhammer, digging bar
A White Card
Physical strength and stamina
Good communication and a safety-first mindset

What's in it for you:
Great pay for excellent people! Rates matched to your skills and experience
A crew of positive people who love their work, their tools and their trucks
Room to learn and grow with the business
Plenty of 80s music, plus house music and burgers to get us pumped up on a Friday

The particulars:
Full time is 38 hours a week (usually 7am to 4pm), averaged over a two-week period
Two breaks a day – everyone's gotta eat
Your pay and conditions will always meet the National Employment Standards and the Building and Construction General In office Award 2020 (MA000020)

Sound like you? Apply below with your résumé and a short cover letter telling us a bit about yourself and where you'd like to head. Make the first move!
