The post-holder will lead a team of Art Handling Technicians and undertake the management and care of artworks at Tate Liverpool in a wide variety of media. This includes installation and de-installation as well as the protected handling, movement and storage of artworks. The role reports to the Art Handling Manager.

To be successful in this role you will bring significant expertise in the handling, installation and care of complex artworks. You will be able to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively and work confidently and accurately under pressure.

You will also have experience of developing technical solutions to challenging installations and advising on plans and schedules. You will be responsible for the care, maintenance and storage of art handling equipment and materials.
