About the opportunity:

At Brookfield Green, you will have the prospect to showcase your culinary skills in a welcoming residential aged care community. As our Chef, you will create fresh, high-quality meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable, helping to enhance residents’ wellbeing, comfort, and overall dining experience every day.

This is a full time role requiring availability Monday to Friday between 9:30 AM and 5:36 PM.

Your day-to-day will involve:
Prepare high-quality, fresh meals that meet residents’ dietary requirements and personal preferences.
Collaborate with clinical and care staff to accommodate individual resident needs and uphold meal choice and nutrition standards.
Provide support and guidance to kitchen staff, contributing to a positive and respectful team setting.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and always adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.





About you:
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience with large volume food production, preferably fresh cook
Knowledge of modified diets and food safety standards
A compassionate, resident-focused approach
Previous experience in Aged Care/Hospital kitchen is desirable
