As a Parts Interpreter, you will help our customers and workshop team identify and source the correct automotive parts and accessories. You'll provide knowledgeable, effective service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Parts Department.

Key responsibilities
Identifying and interpreting parts using electronic catalogues and dealership systems
Responding to customer and workshop enquiries in person, by phone and online
Preparing quotes, processing orders and issuing parts
Ordering parts and following up on backorders
Receiving, checking and storing incoming stockMaintaining accurate stock records and documentation
Assisting with stocktakes and general warehouse duties
Building positive relationships with customers and internal dealership teams
Supporting the Parts Manager and wider dealership team as required

About you
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, preferably within an automotive dealership
Sound automotive parts and mechanical knowledge




Robust customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Confidence using computer-based parts catalogues and inventory systems
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
