Job Description
The Junior Sous Chef will assist in leading a passionate team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences, every time.
What the role is all about:
While focused on Goldfinch restaurant you will support other key areas of culinary as required
Supervise food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Ensure timely service and coordination with front-of-house staff.
Maintain high presentation standards and adherence to dietary and allergy accommodations.
Monitor portion control and waste management to maintain food cost efficiency.
Assist in inventory management, ordering, and receiving of ingredients.
Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and operational efficiency
Enforce proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen equipment and workspaces
