Lux Custom Boats is seeking a motivated Apprentice Welder / Fabricator to join their team in Henderson. This is an excellent chance to commence a trade career with a Western Australian manufacturer specialising in custom aluminium boat construction.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of aluminium boatbuilding while completing a full-time apprenticeship.
About the Role
Duties will include:
Assisting with aluminium boat fabrication, hull assembly and fit-out
Learning aluminium welding techniques under supervision
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Measuring, marking and cutting materials
Safely using hand and power tools
Assisting with boat component installation and general workshop tasks
Maintaining a clean and organised work workplace
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Participating in formal training and completing apprenticeship requirement

Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Be able to follow instructions and work safely
Work well as part of a team
