Finance Automation & Improvement Manager

Join a team focused on making Finance simpler, smarter and more connected. This role leads automation, reporting and process improvement initiatives across Finance, Data and Technology.

What you'll do
Lead automation, reporting and process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
Build and manage a pipeline of Finance improvement prospects, balancing impact, effort and risk.
Partner with stakeholders to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve decision-making.
Deliver practical solutions from discovery and design through to implementation, adoption and perks realisation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Data and Operations to achieve successful outcomes.
Mentor a small team while driving meaningful change and continuous improvement across the Finance function.

Qualifications / Experience
Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business or Information Systems; CA or CPA qualifications are advantageous.
Solid understanding of Finance operations, including planning, forecasting, reporting and performance insights.




Ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve ways of working.
Demonstrated experience leading and delivering automation, reporting and data solutions to deliver practical business outcomes.
Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and other business intelligence tools; S/4HANA experience is highly regarded.
Strong analytical, Excel and problem-solving skills, with a focus on sustainable improvements and data quality.
