About the role

Hitch Campers is seeking an experienced RV builder with advanced knowledge of 12V electrical systems for a full time position at our Coomera workshop on the Gold Coast. You will work on high-quality, off-grid adventure vehicle builds, combining electrical expertise with structural craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities
Wire, connect, and troubleshoot advanced 12V electrical systems, including solar setups, battery management, inverter systems, lighting, and off-grid appliances
Perform structural assembly work on RV builds
Install windows, roof hatches, awnings, water plumbing tanks, and external accessories
Ensure all builds comply with Australian safety regulations, electrical standards, and premium quality benchmarks
Read schematics and work from build plans
Adapt to custom design requirements

About you
Proven hands-on experience in caravan, motorhome,



or custom campervan manufacturing
Confident installing and diagnosing complex 12V DC circuits and battery systems
Formal electrical qualifications are a major plus
Highly proficient with trade hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Ability to read schematics and work from build plans
Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to custom design requirements
Dependable team player with excellent communication skills
Able to commit to a full time role
