Expected Role & Responsibilities

Depending on the placement, responsibilities may include:
Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments
Participating in ward rounds
Developing and implementing management plans
Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications
Working within relevant Victorian Mental Health legislation and clinical frameworks
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Completing clinical documentation and discharge summaries
Providing ongoing assessment and management of patients within the treating team
