About the role

Polyurea WA Pty Ltd (PUWA) is looking for an experienced Industrial Painter / Sandblaster / Polyurea Applicator to join our team based in Naval Base, Western Australia. The role will involve a variety of workshop and project work, with a strong focus on quality, safety and completing work to specification.

Key responsibilities
Abrasive blasting and surface preparation for industrial coating and polyurea applications
Applying industrial protective coatings to a variety of substrates
Applying polyurea coating systems where required
Preparing surfaces and completing work to the required quality and specification
Operating blasting, painting and coating equipment safely and efficiently
Following workplace safety procedures and project requirements
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Working closely with the wider team to complete projects safely and on schedule

About you
Previous experience in abrasive blasting and industrial painting
Minimum 1–2 years' sandblasting experience




Polyurea application experience is highly regarded but not essential
Positive understanding of surface preparation and industrial coating application
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
Robust attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant industry qualifications or certifications
Current White Card
Current Confined Space certification
Current Working at Heights certification
Current C Class driver's licence, with an MR licence highly regarded
Australian permanent residency or citizenship
