About The Role

A well-regarded, locally owned public accounting firm in Mildura is looking for an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join their team. With a broad service offering and a loyal regional client base, this firm punches well above its weight for a regional practice. You will manage your own client portfolio, work closely with experienced directors and have real scope to grow your career without relocating to a capital city.

What You Will Be Doing
Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a diverse client base including companies, trusts and partnerships
Business services and tax compliance across a range of industries
Tax planning and advisory work for small to medium business clients
Liaising directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact
Reviewing and mentoring junior accountants
Xero and cloud accounting file management

What We Are Looking For




3+ years experience in public practice accounting
Confident completing Division 7A, FBT and CGT calculations
CA or CPA qualified, or working towards (open to experienced accoutnants without)
Strong business services and tax compliance background
Confident communicator with client-facing experience
Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce
