Talent International is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to develop scalable data solutions and AI-powered analytics capabilities.

This role is suited to someone with strong hands-on Snowflake engineering experience who has worked with Cortex AI, Generative AI and contemporary data engineering practices.

Experience within banking or financial services will be highly regarded.

Snowflake Data Engineer – Cortex AI / GenAI

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable data pipelines and data products using Snowflake.
Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes, data models and semantic views.
Develop AI-powered solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI.
Build agentic AI workflows supporting search, summarisation, recommendations and automation.
Develop and optimise SQL, Python, stored procedures, streams and tasks.
Implement data governance, metadata, lineage and security controls.
Support CI/CD processes and software engineering best practices.
Optimise Snowflake performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver AI-enabled analytics solutions.

About You




Minimum 5 years’ relevant data engineering experience.
Experience delivering at least two Snowflake implementation projects, including Cortex AI or GenAI.
Robust hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL and Python.
Proven experience designing and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
Practical experience developing AI-powered solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI.
Understanding of agentic AI workflows and Generative AI applications.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage and security best practices.
Experience with CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
Previous banking, financial services or regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.
