About the Company

Our client is a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing payroll team. This is an exciting chance for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working across complex payrolls. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and compliant end-to-end payroll processing across Australia and New Zealand. Working within a large payroll function, you'll utilise your system knowledge while partnering with HR, Finance and key stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy, legislative compliance and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand.
Process new starters, terminations, leave, allowances and payroll adjustments.
Ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
Respond to complex payroll queries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Complete payroll reconciliations, reporting and month-end activities.
Maintain accurate employee records within the payroll system.
Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements.

About you




Previous end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation.
Experience processing Australian and Current Zealand payrolls.
Strong experience using Chris21/SAP is desirable.
Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, EBA's and superannuation.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with payroll reporting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build robust stakeholder relationships.
