Log Truck Driver

We are looking to welcome an additional HC or MC licenced Driver to our log haulage team. We transport logs from Gippsland plantation forests to local timber mills.

Richards Harvesting and Haulage are a family owned and run business, with a long history of harvesting and haulage in Gippsland.

Drivers with log truck experience are preferred, however we are happy to train the right person who has substantial general driving experience. Suitable applicants may be invited for a test drive as part of the selection process.

The person we are looking for is:
An experienced driver with HC or MC licence
Skilled and takes pride in their work
Reliable and steady with a positive record
Will look after the truck they drive and liaise with our internal workshop for regular checks and maintenance




Securely transport loads safely within the required safety guidelines

If you are new to log truck driving, please know that over the years we have have trained several current Drivers in carting logs and driving on forest roads for which many have come to thoroughly enjoy as interesting and varied work.
