Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints and instructions to determine the tasks and materials needed
Drill accurate holes and install brackets to secure the system components
Mount and connect various parts like compressors, motors, and coils
Repair or replace faulty components like switches, gauges, and pipelines
Join pipes using different techniques (bolting, soldering, etc.) for a secure and leak-proof fit
Charge the system with a test substance to detect leaks
Run the refrigeration system, verifying its functionality and making adjustments if needed




Recover test gas or fluid and fill the system with the appropriate refrigerant
Conduct regular inspections to identify problems within the system
Diagnose malfunctions, fix or replace broken components
Fine-tune system controls and mechanisms for optimal performance
Reassemble the system after repairs
Maintain detailed records of issues found, repairs made, and adjustments performed

Skills and experience:
Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
