The role suits someone with solid high volume AP experience who is comfortable working across multiple entities, projects and currencies, and who likes to close things out rather than leave them sitting.About Our ClientOur client is a fast growing business in the technology and infrastructure space, with large construction projects underway across Australia.
It is founder led rather than corporate, so decisions are made quickly and leaders are easy to reach.
The finance team is growing with the business and is currently moving onto a new procurement system, with a clear focus on simplifying processes and building in automation.ResponsibilitiesManaging end to end Accounts Payable across multiple entities and projects, with a high volume of supplier invoicesReviewing purchase orders, approvals and coding, and matching invoices accuratelyProcessing high value CapEx and asset related invoices for construction projectsAllocating costs correctly across projects,



assets and cost centresManaging supplier prepayments and multi currency invoices and paymentsOnboarding suppliers and reviewing employee expense claimsOwning the AP inbox, working through supplier, procurement and project team queries until they are resolvedSupporting month end close, including accruals and reconciliationsKeeping AP processes compliant with internal controls and audit requirements, and suggesting improvements along the wayRequirementsSolid experience in a high volume Accounts Payable roleStrong understanding of purchase orders, invoice matching and approval workflowsUnderstanding of how AP transactions flow through to the General Ledger, including accruals and month endExperience in multi entity and multi currency environmentsCapEx, construction, infrastructure, engineering or data centre experience is highly regardedIntercompany experience is a plusNetSuite experience is a bonus, and training will be provided on the new procurement systemWell organised, with solid attention to detail and the confidence to follow up with the businessAvailable to start immediatelyWhat's on OfferA broad AP role with exposure to large scale construction and capital projectsA growing business where your input on process and automation will be heardA supportive, hands on manager who is investing in better systems
