Sloane Plumbing is seeking a Small Works & Maintenance Manager to join our agile team based in Marrickville, NSW.
This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage small-scale plumbing projects and maintenance works across our portfolio of clients.
In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for coordinating teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, whilst maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
This position is integral to our operations, directly impacting client satisfaction and our reputation for excellence in the plumbing industry.Key responsibilitiesPlan, coordinate and oversee small works and maintenance projects from inception to completionSchedule and allocate work to plumbing teams, ensuring efficient resource utilisation and project timelines are metConduct site inspections and assessments to determine scope of work and material requirementsMonitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as neededEnsure all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations and company standardsManage project budgets, track labour costs and materials, and provide accurate cost reportingLiaise with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates and manage expectationsSupervise and mentor plumbing teams, providing guidance, feedback and support to develop skills and maintain performance standardsEnsure all health and safety protocols are followed on site, conducting toolbox talks and safety briefingsMaintain accurate documentation, including work orders, timesheets, incident reports and project recordsCoordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiencyWhat we're looking forMinimum 5 years' experience in plumbing or construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreperson roleProven track record of successfully managing small-to-medium sized projects and maintenance worksStrong knowledge of plumbing systems,



materials and best practice installation methodsValid driver's licence and willingness to travel to multiple job sitesExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasksStrong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectivelySound understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentProficiency with project management and scheduling softwareStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients and team membersProblem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressureCurrent First Aid Certificate and CPR certification (preferred)White Card or Construction Induction Card (preferred)What we offerSloane Plumbing is committed to providing our employees with a rewarding work environment and comprehensive benefits package.
