As a growing team with an expanding product range, they are now looking to maintain and develop their business interests from South East QLD to Mackay.About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this position is to service existing accounts from South East QLD to Mackay while identifying growth markets for an existing and expanding product range in harsh industries including mining, transit, marine, oil and gas, solar and defence.Some of your responsibilities will include:Managing and servicing existing customer accounts across your territoryCreating and executing a call plan,



with regular travel throughout the regionIdentifying opportunities for the existing and expanding product rangeBuilding solid customer relationships and driving opportunities to a positive outcomeUncovering new business opportunities and growth marketsReporting against KPI standards on a regular basisUtilising and maintaining CRM softwareAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:2+ years of sales experience in the surface mining or heavy rail industries, with an emphasis on electric drive systemsA proven track record in territory management or sales of electrical and/or mining productsPrevious industry or electrical trade experience with Komatsu (GE Invertex) and CAT electric drive systems, which will be looked upon favourablyThe ability to work unsupervised with a "make it happen" attitude and a passion for uncovering new businessExcellent time management and a high level of professionalismStrong communication skills and a team player mindsetProficiency with CRM software, Word, Excel and OutlookWhat's in it for You?
