Discover it for yourself: F7uAqs1gtukAs a Senior Electronics Engineer within the Navigation Solutions team, you will be responsible for the design of electronics for new products in Advanced Navigation's product range as well as design updates for our existing products.
You will own the electronic design throughout the product realization process working closely with mechanical and embedded software engineers.Your work will directly result in new products taken from first concept through to mass market production with involvement throughout the whole development cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review PCB schematic designs and layouts using Altium DesignerSimulate and optimise circuits in LTSpiceDesign and review analogue signal chain processing circuits (filters, amplifiers, etc.), digital signal circuits including high-speed interfacesDevelop and review mixed signal processing chains (i.e. A-D and D-A)Design for Manufacture and TestabilityCollaborate closely with our Software team to ensure hardware designs meet software requirementsCollaborate closely with our Mechanical team to ensure electronic design meets mechanical requirementsQualifications, skills & experienceBachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering.7+ years of experience in designing and developing complex electronicsBasic ability to work with 3D models in Solidworks or a similar packageProficient in using industry standard tools such as SPICE, Altium Designer, MatlabPCBA design, 8 layer +, Rigid Flex, High speed communications (> 100 MHz)Robust interpersonal and communication skills; able to explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.A curious mindset with an intrinsic drive to learn complex technical frameworks quickly.Strong attention to detail combined with a bias for action and decisive problem-solving.
