Technology Lawyer / Senior Associate – IP & Technology | Brisbane | Permanent Full Time
A highly regarded, leading Brisbane practice is looking for an IP/ Technology Lawyer or Senior Associate to join its IP and Technology team.
Work at the front of the curve
You'll work on complex technology and outsourcing projects for Australian and international clients, and advise on related issues across intellectual property, privacy and AI.
The work spans the private and public sectors, and the matters are large and complex, with a team that wants to shape how Australian business, industry and consumers will work in the future.
You'll work closely with two Partners in a driven, energetic team that actively uses AI in how the work gets done day to day.

What we'd love to see
At least 4 years' PQE in private practiceA strong academic recordExceptional technical skills, especially contract draftingExcellent written and verbal communication,



and the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, concise adviceCreativity and a talent for unconventional problem-solvingAttention to detail and the ability to draft incisive, commercially minded adviceStrong interpersonal skills for building client relationshipsA collegiate, positive approach that values respect and collaborationAn interest in technology trends and the legal and regulatory issues they raise (technology contracts experience is helpful but not essential)

This is one of the country's largest and most experienced specialist IP and technology groups, advising on major technology deals and projects as regulation and technology change quickly.
Clients include public sector bodies, large corporates, telcos, media and publishing businesses, financial institutions, investors, and technology providers and their customers.
